Pizza Ranch is close to opening in Wisconsin Rapids, with owners Angie and Gary Hall making final adjustments Oct. 26 before staff training later in the week. The restaurant is at 2201 Wood County W.

The Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting at 10 a.m. Nov. 4, ahead of a soft opening with select lunch and dinner hours by invitation so the team can complete training on dine-in, pickup and delivery orders. The official opening is Nov. 9, with regular hours of 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

The menu centers on a buffet with pizza, chicken, dessert and a salad bar, plus items such as wings, cheesy ranch sticks, breadsticks, biscuits, fries, potato wedges, mashed potatoes and gravy, ranch chips, chicken fries, green beans, corn and coleslaw.

The location also includes a FunZone Arcade that will start with 25 games, with two larger games to be added in the first couple of weeks, and prizes including gift cards and packages highlighting local sports teams, schools and businesses. A party room has televisions so parents can watch the arcade area and a larger screen for meetings or presentations.

Plans for the restaurant, near Home Depot at Wood County W and State 54, have been in progress for more than a year. Crews began preparing the site in March 2026, held a groundbreaking April 6, and recovered from a May 27 storm that knocked down walls and beams and delayed work by a couple of weeks, before signs went up in September.
