The Pleasant Prairie Police Department announced on Thursday, Oct. 29, that two men convicted of sex offenses will move into the village once they are released from prison. Police identified them as Paul Edwards, 59, and Angelo Zamora, 60.
Edwards is set to live in the 11200 block of Old Green Bay Road. Police said his recent offenses include second-degree sexual assault and burglary, and listed an alias of Bush Edwards. He was described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and 142 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and glasses.
Zamora is set to live in the 12200 block of Sheridan Road. Police said his offenses include second-degree sexual assault of a child and incest with a child, and listed an alias of Angel Zamora. He was described as 5 feet 11 inches tall and 216 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes, and police said he must stay registered with Wisconsin's Sex Offender Registration Program for life.
Both men will be electronically monitored, police said. Their conditions bar unsupervised contact with minors and any contact with their victims, and also bar drug use. Police said each man must register in person with local law enforcement and follow the standard rules set by his parole agent.
Police said neither man is wanted at this time and that no specific release dates were given in the announcement. The department said the notice is meant to support public safety and awareness, and it cautioned residents not to use the information to threaten, intimidate or harass either man.
