The Village of Mount Pleasant Board of Trustees voted Oct. 26 to lay over final approval of the Sanctuary at Pike River plat for two weeks.

Trustee Washburn proposed the two-week delay so the developer can make requested revisions during that time, rather than the board acting on the plat as presented.

The revisions cover the project's paperwork. The developer is to submit revised plat filings, along with updated restrictive covenants and a developers agreement, before the matter returns to the board.

Neighbors raised concerns about safety and drainage connected to the development. Village staff also laid out stormwater requirements and tile reconnection requirements that still need to be addressed.
