The body recovered from the Fox River in Green Bay on Monday has been identified as Thai Yang, 25, Green Bay fire officials said.
Yang was last seen at his residence in the 200 block of 12th Avenue on the night of Oct. 25. He was reported missing on the night of Oct. 26.
The Green Bay Police Department, assisted by the Green Bay Metro Fire Department, said officers were sent to the river just after 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 2 after a body was spotted in the water near West Mason Street. The body was brought out of the water at about 6:55 p.m.
An investigation is under way to determine the cause of death.
