Polls in the Wausau area will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3, for the partisan general election.

Ballots will include Wisconsin constitutional offices — governor, attorney general, secretary of state and state treasurer — along with U.S. Congress, state Senate and Assembly seats, and local offices including sheriff, clerk of court and coroner.

In the open race for governor, Democrat David Crowley faces Republican Tom Tiffany. Gov. Tony Evers announced in July 2025 that he would not seek a third term. For attorney general, Democratic incumbent Josh Kaul faces Republican Eric Toney.

In the 7th Congressional District, Republican Michael Alfonso faces Democrat Fred Clark. Contested state Senate races include District 23, where Republican Romaine Robert Quinn faces Democrat Jeff Foster, and District 29, where Republican incumbent Cory Tomczyk faces Democrat Gillian Battino.

Voters will also decide three statewide referenda proposing constitutional amendments dealing with the governor's veto power, the governor's emergency powers and discrimination based on a person's racial background.
