A Halloween trick-or-treat event for children and families is scheduled today, Wednesday, Oct. 28, at the Holmen Library.
The event runs from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the library, 121 W. Legion St. in Holmen.
Holmen Park and Recreation and other local businesses will staff stations offering trick-or-treating and games for kids.
Organizers describe the event as non-scary and say children are encouraged to come in costume.
Admission is free, and the event is open to all children and family members.
