United Way of Kenosha County invites the community to its fourth annual Live UNITED Spectacular on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the Todd Wehr Center at Carthage College, 2001 Alford Park Drive in Kenosha. This year's theme is Celebrating Legacy in Action, and the event is presented by Carthage College, Eli Lilly and Snap-on.
Guests can expect music from DJ Fly Ty and the Boys & Girls Club Choir, a silent auction, a three-course dinner and giveaways during the evening.
The program will share stories of local impact in areas such as education and support for families in need, and will recognize the people and organizations behind that work in Kenosha County.
Three Legacy Awards will be presented. Ocean Spray receives the Legacy of Impact Award, Robyn Heathcote Doersch receives the Jamice Glass Legacy of Leadership Award, and Kimberly Krohn receives the Legacy in Action Award.
Chief Executive Officer Selina Gomez-Beloz, who joined United Way of Kenosha County in May, said hearing community members' memories of the annual event has deepened her appreciation for what the evening means locally.
