Keys to Kenosha runs Saturday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with more than 50 locations across the community opening their doors for self-guided tours. The lineup ranges from historic buildings and cultural spaces to local businesses and lesser-known spots.

Stops highlighted for the day include Simmons Library, the Kenosha public museums, Carthage College and Coast Guard Station Kenosha. Admission is free, and most sites do not require tickets.

Organizers suggest planning a route before heading out, using the site list on KeysToKenosha.com to pick priorities and group nearby stops together. A printer-friendly list is also available to carry during the day.

A trolley will run throughout the event to move visitors between locations, with free parking at seven trolley stops. Directional signs will be posted around the community, and each participating venue will display an official participating-site sign.

Some sites are adding specials for the day, including promotions, discounts, refreshments or extra experiences, and visitors are encouraged to ask what is on offer when they arrive. An interactive map on the event site shows which locations are near each other.
