In-person absentee voting is underway across Racine County ahead of the Nov. 3 election, with a community-by-community schedule running in most places from Oct. 20 through Oct. 30.

In the City of Racine, early voting is held at City Hall on weekdays through Oct. 30, and the city continues voting through Nov. 1. Mount Pleasant votes at Village Hall, and Caledonia votes at its Village Hall on Chester Lane.

Hours vary by community, and curbside voting is available. Voters can confirm their clerk, polling place and hours through MyVote Wisconsin.

Voters need an acceptable photo ID, and in-person registration runs through Oct. 30. Anyone voting by mail must request a ballot by 5 p.m. on Oct. 29 and return it by 8 p.m. on Nov. 3.

Ballots cast early are held until Election Day, with Racine and Caledonia counting absentee ballots at a central location.
