Drivers in Oshkosh will face several road closures during the week of Oct. 26-30 as construction continues across the city, according to the city's Oct. 23 construction and traffic update.

Three stretches are listed as closed: Ohio Street from West South Park Avenue to West 17th Avenue, Lake Shore Drive from Merritt Avenue to Washington Avenue, and West Sixth Avenue from Iowa Street to Minnesota Street.

Four more stretches are closed to through traffic: Fluor Court from Bowen Street to the end of the cul-de-sac, Merritt Avenue from Grand Street to Broad Street, East Murdock Avenue from Mount Vernon Street to Ashland Street, and Progress Drive from West Fernau Avenue to the end of the cul-de-sac.

Crews are scheduled to continue paving Ohio Street between West South Park Avenue and West 17th Avenue as part of that street's reconstruction, with sidewalk grading and installation also beginning along the closed stretch.

Other work for the week includes intersection work at Vinland Street and Jackson Street for the Fernau Avenue extension, concrete paving on the Progress Drive extension, and restoration after water main replacement on Josslyn Street and Taft Avenue, both with lane restrictions. The city update did not give reopening dates for the closures.
