Kenosha Public Library will turn its KPL Kids space at Uptown Lofts into a circus ring on Friday, Nov. 13, for a one-evening program held after the branch closes.
The program runs from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at 6144 22nd Ave. in Kenosha. The library says doors will be locked at 6:15 p.m., so families are urged to arrive before then.
Children work through a series of circus challenges to earn a performer's certificate. The library lists high-wire walking over sharks and lion taming among the challenges on offer.
Between challenges, the evening includes a balloon artist, a fortune teller, photo spots and popcorn.
The listing is aimed at families with children and shows no registration step and no fee. On the day of the event, KPL Kids at Uptown Lofts is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. before the after-hours program starts.
