A Bradford High School teacher has said Kenosha Unified School District administrators directed teachers to publicly support the district's failed $115 million referendum, according to a Nov. 1 report by Kenosha County Eye.

The teacher is Jennifer Sepanski, 52, of Kenosha. Kenosha County Eye reported that she made the admission in private Facebook messages.

According to the report, Sepanski also said administrators authorized the use of a school building for referendum campaign photographs.

The disclosure comes as Kenosha Unified explores another referendum for April 2027. Voters rejected the district's previous $115 million request.
