Cousins Subs is marking Veterans Day by giving a free sub to the people who have served, and those still serving, in the U.S. military.
On Wednesday, Nov. 11, veterans and active-duty personnel can receive a free 7 1/2-inch Classic or Deli Fresh sub at any Cousins Subs location.
The offer is for in-person orders only on Veterans Day. Guests will need to show proof of service, which can include a U.S. Uniform Services ID or retired ID, a current Leave and Earnings Statement, a Veterans Organization Card, a photograph in uniform, a DD214 form, or a citation or commendation.
The Wisconsin-based chain was founded in 1972 and is family-owned. Cousins and its franchisees run nearly 100 sub shops in Wisconsin, serving grilled and deli-fresh subs on bread baked daily.
