Hundreds of volunteers from across the Chippewa Valley spent Friday packing meals for children in need.
About 700 volunteers took part in the Eau Claire event, packing more than 171,000 meals.
Organizers said the total was the biggest the event has recorded, topping the previous mark by more than 24,000 meals.
The meals packed are enough to feed 468 children for a full year.
