An Antigo man has pleaded not guilty to all charges in a sexual assault and burglary case in Langlade County. The charges are allegations, and he is presumed innocent unless convicted.

Prosecutors say 27-year-old William Dixon approached a woman at a local bar in early September and followed her to her vehicle as she left, trying to kiss her after she repeatedly rejected him, according to WSAU's reporting.

The woman told investigators Dixon later broke into her home that night while she was sleeping and assaulted her, and that she tried to fight him off. Phone records cited by prosecutors indicate Dixon attempted to call her multiple times after 2:30 a.m.

Dixon's bond was reduced from $100,000 to $30,000. If he posts bail, his release conditions would require GPS monitoring at his own expense, surrender of his passport and remaining in Wisconsin, and he is barred from contacting the woman or approaching her home.

If convicted of sexual assault, burglary and bail jumping, Dixon faces up to 35 years in prison. He also faces separate domestic abuse and false imprisonment charges in Kenosha County, where a status conference is set for Dec. 22. Langlade County proceedings resume Jan. 11.
