The Eau Claire Global Market will return for its ninth year on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event will be held across the first floor and lower level of First Congregational UCC, 310 Broadway St. in Eau Claire. Twenty-one vendors will be set up for the day.

Vendors will offer ethically procured, handmade products and food items from more than 40 countries, including clothing and textiles, baskets, jewelry, home decor and holiday ornaments. Proceeds promote sustainable livelihoods and community development in disadvantaged regions.

This year's food offering includes a new partner, Borsch House, a Ukrainian restaurant based at The Yard, 241 Division St. in Altoona. The restaurant plans to serve dishes including pierogi, medovik and borsch at the market.

Borsch House is described by organizers as a woman-owned restaurant run by Ukrainian refugees who came to Eau Claire after leaving Kharkiv and received support from local churches before opening the business.
