The Wisconsin Rapids City Council is scheduled to vote Tuesday on a proposed conditional use permit for a data center at the site of the former paper mill.
Mayor Matt Zacher discussed the vote during a weekly radio appearance on Monday. He said the item reaches the council after the city's plan commission did not recommend approval.
Zacher said the council's decision will focus on what PNK Group submitted to the plan commission.
The mayor also discussed the future of the city's Flock safety camera system during the appearance.
