Adults who know horror films, scary books and spooky pop culture can put that knowledge to work on Halloween afternoon at the Marathon County Public Library in Wausau.
The trivia contest runs from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31, at the library's Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St. Players can enter as a team with friends or family, or compete on their own.
The team with the highest score takes home a prize. Wearing a costume is welcomed, though it is not required to play.
Admission is free, the contest is open to adults, and no advance sign-up is needed.
Anyone who wants more details before the event can call the library at 715-261-7230.
