Communities across the Wausau area have set trick-or-treating hours for Halloween, which falls on Saturday, Oct. 31 this year.
Most places on the Wausau Daily Herald list are going from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Oct. 31. That group includes Wausau, Weston, Rothschild, Schofield, Kronenwetter, Mosinee, Merrill, Rib Mountain, Abbotsford and Colby.
Some communities start earlier or run later. Athens is 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Edgar is 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Hatley is 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Wittenberg is 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Owen and Withee both run 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31.
Medford has an earlier date on the list: Oct. 25, following the Harvest Days Parade until 6 p.m. The Herald says the list will be updated as more communities post their times.
