Two UW-River Falls soccer players have been named the university's Falcons of the Week for Oct. 12-18.

Freshman men's goalkeeper Greyson Shiek made 21 saves over 180 minutes during a 1-0-1 week for the Falcons, posting a .913 save percentage while facing 41 shots. His 16 saves in a scoreless draw at Saint John's set a new single-game school record, and he added five more saves in a 3-2 conference road win at UW-Stevens Point.

Senior women's forward Ellie Ketcher scored three goals for six points in her team's 1-0-1 week. All three goals came in a 4-2 road win over St. Norbert, including the game-winner, accounting for three of the Falcons' four goals that week.

Ketcher's team also earned a point in the conference standings with a scoreless draw at UW-Stevens Point.
