Two Rivers police were dispatched on Friday afternoon, Oct. 16, after a report of a human body in the water near Seagull Marina.
Officers and Two Rivers firefighters recovered the body and brought it to shore. It was then turned over to the Manitowoc County Coroner's Office.
Police said the investigation is still under way. The person's identity had not been released, and no additional information was available.
