A 33-year-old man who was being sought as a person of interest after two people were found dead in a Kenosha apartment has been arrested in Chicago, according to WISN.

Kenosha police identified the man as Michael O'Neal Fleming. Officers found the two victims on Monday, Oct. 19, during a welfare check at an apartment near 55th Avenue and Washington Road, and police confirmed the two deaths were connected.

Court documents identified the dead as Fleming's mother, Rena Oneal, and her husband, Rodney Bushwood. Early indications were that they had been dead for several days.

In an alert issued Tuesday, Kenosha police described Fleming as armed, dangerous and unstable, and said he had last been seen in the northwest part of the city. He is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 250 pounds, with short hair, brown eyes and a noticeable gait when walking.

Fleming is also charged with first-degree murder in Seattle. Prosecutors there say he shot Graeme Dobbeck, an employee at a Seattle gas station, on Oct. 13, and that he was identified from surveillance video as a former employee of the station.

The investigation into the Kenosha deaths remains ongoing. Police had urged anyone who saw Fleming to call 911 and not approach him.
