The Racine Symphony Orchestra will perform its Fall Masterworks concert, Mozart & More, on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 716 College Ave. in Racine.
The featured soloist is Linda Nielsen-Korducki, the orchestra's Artist-in-Residence this season, who will perform Mozart's Flute Concerto No. 1.
The Artist-in-Residence program is part of the orchestra's education and community work. In the week before the concert, Nielsen-Korducki visited schools, played in community settings and shared music with residents in senior care facilities.
Before the concert, the orchestra is hosting a wine and cheese reception with a conversation between Music Director Pasquale Laurino and Nielsen-Korducki about the evening's program and the concerto.
General admission is $45. Students ages 12 to 18 are $5, and children under 12 are free, with those tickets arranged by phone or email. The orchestra can be reached at (262) 636-9285 or [email protected].
