A 30-year-old man died after he was found with a gunshot wound to the head inside a Racine home early Sunday, Oct. 18.
Racine police said officers responded to the scene near Russet and Durand at about 3:11 a.m. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary information from police indicates a verbal argument between family members happened first. Another family member, a 63-year-old woman, arrived at the residence and shot the victim.
The woman was arrested, and charges were referred to the Racine County District Attorney's Office.
