The Green Bay Packers and Festival Foods will hold the 20th annual Festival of Lights at Lambeau Field on Saturday, Dec. 12. The family event is free and takes place in the stadium atrium.
Planned activities include cookie decorating, holiday movies and cartoons, holiday card making, photos with Santa Claus and performances by area high school choirs. The evening then moves outside to Harlan Plaza for the formal tree lighting.
As in past years, the Packers are looking for a donated tree. Anyone in the Greater Green Bay area with a 40- to 50-foot evergreen can submit a short proposal, in 100 words or less, explaining why their tree should be chosen, along with a photo. Proposals are due by Friday, Nov. 13.
The team plans to harvest and transport the selected tree to Lambeau Field on Tuesday, Dec. 1. The donor will receive four tickets to the Packers game against the Texans on Jan. 4, 2027.
