At its Oct. 12 meeting, the Oak Creek-Franklin School Board presented the 2026 WASB Business Honor Roll to Harvest Church, Regal Rexnord and Oak Creek Plumbing.
Harvest Church was recognized for its work with the Cedar Hills PTO over the past year. The church donated two adaptive swings for the playground for students with disabilities, equipment for the special education department and meals for teachers, and it helped start a winter clothing program providing boots and snow pants for Cedar Hills students at recess. Lead Pastor Caleb Widmer and Eric Berg accepted the award, and the church is now working with the PTO to fund a field trip for each grade level next school year.
Regal Rexnord has supported Oak Creek High School's Round Table Robotics team since 2018. The company donated more than $12,000 in the past year, helping the team compete at district and world championship events, and provided 16 hours of volunteer release time. Employee Robin Olson, who accepted the award, has volunteered more than 500 hours a year for the past decade as a student mentor.
Oak Creek Plumbing was honored for its role in the Knight Construction Program. Its staff work alongside students to teach plumbing skills, and the company provides competitive pricing and quality products for each student-built home. Dan and Denise Callies accepted the recognition from the board.
