The La Crosse Symphony Orchestra says its Endow the Encore campaign has raised more than $1.7 million toward a $3.5 million goal.
A group of donors is now funding a $750,000 matching gift challenge. Eligible contributions made through Dec. 31, 2026, can be matched, doubling their effect.
The campaign is building a permanent endowment for the orchestra. The Symphony says the fund is meant to sustain live performances and music education programs over the long term.
The orchestra, based in La Crosse, has presented concerts in the Coulee Region for more than 125 years and runs education programs alongside its concert season.
