Kenosha man accused of fleeing police on a pink bicycle before K-9 Knox found him under a deck

A criminal complaint filed Wednesday names Darryal L. Jenkins, 46, of Kenosha, in an unusual police chase involving a pink bicycle.

According to the complaint, Jenkins allegedly tried to outrun police while riding the pink bicycle.

The bicycle did not end the pursuit. Jenkins allegedly abandoned it, continued fleeing on foot and hid underneath a backyard deck.

Kenosha Police K-9 Knox tracked him to that hiding spot, according to the complaint, bringing the escape attempt to an end.
