The award was presented Oct. 14 at The Club at Strawberry Creek during the chamber's annual meeting, which drew business leaders, elected officials and community members.
The chamber said the recipient is chosen from employee nominations and essays, along with a selection committee review. This year's nominations pointed to workplace relationships, work-life balance, approachable leadership and a sense of family.
The bank has served southeast Wisconsin for 128 years. Its Kenosha County branches are on 75th Street in Kenosha and in Paddock Lake.
Bank leaders in attendance included chief executive Scott Huedepohl, along with human resources and operations staff. Market president Laura Burnett Shoemaker called the honor a proud moment for employees.
Other chamber honors went to Doug Williams as Ambassador of the Year and to George Follensbee for the Chairman's Award. Beautification awards went to the Karrick Apartments, KTEC Schools of Innovation and MelKat's.
