Milwaukee beat Los Angeles 6-4 on Thursday, Oct. 15, at Dodger Stadium in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series, completing a four-game sweep.

Los Angeles built a 4-0 lead in the second inning, helped by a three-run home run. Milwaukee cut the deficit to 4-2 in the fourth and tied the game in the fifth.

A home run in the sixth put Milwaukee ahead 5-4, and a two-out home run in the ninth added an insurance run for the final margin.

Milwaukee's relief pitching held Los Angeles scoreless after the early innings, stranding the potential tying run at third base in multiple late innings.

The win sends Milwaukee to the World Series for the first time since 1982. The Fall Classic is scheduled to start Oct. 23, with Milwaukee holding home-field advantage.
